18 Pine Ridge is unique in its cabin style with colonial style verandah. It is a 2008 Brentmere lodge and has been our holiday bolt hole for several years creating new memories, new adventures, rest and relaxation. We have now decided to use it as a holiday let.
It is located within Percy Wood country park and allows you full access to the sites services and stunning surroundings. The site offers free 18 hole golf, children's activity play area, dog park ,a new Coast & Country eatery with access to a small children's amusement arcade & a tennis court . All set within the backdrop of the national forest and endless woodland walks.
Bookings are available from one night passing through to longer term bookings.
18 Pine Ridge is normally available from 2pm on the first day and checking out is 10.00am, we may be able to offer extended check outs etc, just ask. The cabin is thoroughly cleaned and prepared between guests stay.
Once a registered and accredited golf course, but now after recent TLC it is becoming a friendly 18 hole course and home to many local fund raising tournaments.
Access is free and booked via the site reception for all site residents.
Finish off in the Coast & Country eatery for some refreshments, the site can advise of times.

Obviously the first and most obvious historic connection to the area is Alnwick Castle, backdrop to Harry Potter and Transformers amongst other movies - just 15 minutes drive away.
Bamburgh Castle, the home of the Vikings, Warkworth Castle, Holy Island and Lindisfarne offer history like nowhere else and sandwiched in between are the seaside towns of Seahouses, Amble ,Beadnell and Craster (Home of Dunstanburgh Castle and kippers).

Whilst on the topic of books, almost all the sites of the LJ Ross books are within easy reach plus Vera's iconic North East landscape.
Cragside and its ingenious hydro electric powered house is a mere 20 minutes drive through the undulating countryside. There's even the opportunity for flying experiences 2 miles away and paddle boarding or kayaking at Druridge.
Dog walking has never been more picturesque.
